The Barbican Volunteer Network is a group of residents who came together in March 2020 in response to the Covid crisis. We are not affiliated to any other Barbican group or The City but many of the volunteers are members of other Barbican associations meaning that together they have a good understanding of the needs to the area: They are retirees, work from homers, parents, window boxers, millennials and of course… architects.

Paul Taylor-Pitt
Hello, I’m Paul. I’ve lived in Barbican since 2011. My day job is working with the NHS which as you can imagine is both challenging and rewarding right now. I’m grateful to be part of the volunteer community helping our neighbours when they need it most. I’m on Twitter @DrP4UL where you’ll find me talking about books, indoor workouts and laughing at Cookie Monster.
